Dental care for dogs and cats is important in keeping them happy and thriving. 80% of dogs and 70% of cats over the age of 3 suffer from some sort of dental disease.

Dental disease can affect how your pets eat, groom or play. When left untreated dental disease can impact liver, kidney and heart health.

Each year at your pet’s annual check-up we include a dental check to ensure your pets teeth and gums are clean and healthy. We closely monitor your pets’ teeth and gums and can provide you with methods of keeping that pesky plaque at bay.

We provide a range of dental products from dental diets to teeth cleaning tools and water additives.

Sometimes not even the best dental products can budge years of plaque and calculus build up. This is where our ultrasonic dental machine comes in handy. Under general anaesthetic we can get in all the nooks and crannies to make those teeth shine again. We are also able to extract teeth that’re too far gone that would be just too painful to remove whilst conscious. Your pet will come home with fresher breath and pearly whites.

Patients that undergo dental procedures are provided with injectable pain-relief and antibiotics where needed to ensure they wake up smoothly and pain free. Our dental procedures include intravenous fluid therapy throughout their procedure and in recovery.

We provide our clients with post dental care instructions so that we can prolong the time between dental scale and polishes and keep that breath fresher for longer.
