Narelle Innes


Certificate IV Veterinary Nurse
 

& Companion Animal Services


Narelle joined us at Lincoln Vets in 2017 after moving back from Adelaide. Narelle has over 10 years
nursing experience as well as a wealth of knowledge in canine behaviour.


After recently returning from maternity leave Narelle is back nursing part time.


Narelle has many animals on her property; horses being her most cherished.

Annalise Carey


Trainee Veterinary Nurse


Annalise is another one of the youngsters in our team having started in a boarding position back in 2019. Annalise quickly gained her qualification in animal studies and is currently studying her Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing.  

 

While Annalise still provides our boarding animals with their daily needs she is learning both reception and nursing duties whenever the opportunity arises.   

Emma Stefano

Trainee Veterinary Nurse


Emma started her career at Lincoln Veterinary Centre in our boarding kennels but soon found a passion
for nursing. Emma completed her Cert II in Animal Studies in 2019 and is well on her way to completing her Certificate IV in veterinary nursing.


A quick and eager learner Emma can also be found learning the ropes of reception.

Dr Murray Cordell

Head Veterinarian

Murray graduated from Melbourne Uni many years ago. Since graduation he spent several years working in clinics around Melbourne, worked in Hong Kong for 3 years and then bought a clinic in Bendigo, Victoria.

 

With wife, Sam(antha) the Bendigo clinic was run for 14 years, during which time three beautiful kids were produced.

Murray has a large array of animals including 3 dogs, 3 cats and plenty more furred, feathered and scaly friends!

Murray joined our veterinary team in 2016 and is now our Head Veterinarian. Murray enjoys getting to know our clients and their families across the EP.

Dr Rowena Leschner

Veterinarian

Rowena graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2004 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery (BVM&S) with distinctions.

 

She has worked in England, Ireland, the Isle of Man and Germany.


Rowena joined Lincoln Veterinary in 2009 and has a special interest in dermatology, diagnostic imaging and feline medicine.


Rowena is blessed with three small children and currently works part time at Lincoln Vet Centre.

Dr Annie Forrest

Veterinarian

Annie graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery (with First Class Honours) from Murdoch University in Perth. Prior to this she obtained an Associate Diploma in Agriculture (Horse
Husbandry and Management).


Annie has spent her career in mixed rural practices in WA, SA and in the UK. Eyre Peninsula has been home for over 30 years, firstly on a farm at Wharminda and now in Port Lincoln.


Annie enjoy the variety and challenges of rural practice and has a special interest in wildlife and the more unusual pets.

 

She also values the connection with people that she has made through her work as a vet on the EP. Annie joined our veterinary team in early 2020 and has slotted into the team from the get go.


Annie has 3 adult children, a python and a Border Collie. Outside of work Annie loves horse riding, yoga, dragon boat paddling, walking and spending time with family and friends.

Dr Emma Pilkington

Dr Emma Pilkington 

Veterinarian

Emma grew up in regional South Australia surrounded by a menagerie of fur, feathers and hooves.

 

She graduated from the University of Sydney, is a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (IVAS), has Silver Certification in Low Stress Handling of Dogs and Cats and is always busy studying in an attempt to quench her thirst for knowledge!    

 

Emma has spent time working with a variety of small furry, and large hooved animals in Sydney, Singapore and most recently Albury-Wodonga.  

 

She loves all aspects of veterinary medicine but is particularly passionate about feline medicine, dermatology, caring for our “senior" pet citizens and acupuncture.   

Skye Lobb

Boarding Manager


 

Skye is another one of our old timers having started at Lincoln Veterinary Centre in our boarding kennels
back in 2008. In 2011 Skye completed her Cert II in vet nursing.

 

Skye has a loveable, loud personality, perfectly suited to her role as Puppy Preschool Trainer.


Skye has an ever-growing fur family including two very handsome Golden Retrievers.

Cahlie Kramer


Dog Groomer



 

Cahlie is our fabulous dog groomer, keeping pooches all around Port Lincoln looking spick and span!

Cahlie has been in the dog grooming industry for over 13 years. The majority of Cahlie’s career was spent in Adelaide where she ran her own dog grooming business. We were lucky enough to welcome Cahlie into our team in mid-2020 with all our clients being extremely impressed with her eye for detail and perfectionism.

While Cahlie is excellent in all areas of grooming she most enjoys grooming dogs with double coats.

Rachel Richards

Rachel started her journey in the veterinary industry in our boarding kennels back in 2012.

 

Rachel briefly
relocated to Adelaide with her partner where she worked at an emergency veterinary clinic and a specialist clinic.

 

Rachel has an abundance of knowledge behind her!


We welcomed Rachel back to our team in 2019 where she soon took on the role of Head Nurse.


Rachel is very passionate about horses and adores Boxers!

Geordie Trenowden


Certificate IV Veterinary Nurse

 

 

 

Geordie joined Lincoln Veterinary Centre in 2008 and underwent training to become a qualified
veterinary nurse.

 

In 2015 Geordie travelled overseas to Amman, Jordan where she spent 4 weeks volunteering at the Humane Centre for Animal Welfare.


Geordie has a passion for large breed dogs. Geordie works part time at Lincoln Vets in between raising her two children.

Tiarna Stoetzer

Certificate IV Veterinary Nurse

 

 

 

Tiarna joined the team in 2014 in a receptionist role and has since gained her Cert IV in Veterinary
Nursing in 2019.

 

Tiarna works fulltime at Lincoln Vets with the majority of her time spent nursing, however she does sneak the occasional receptionist shift from time to time.


Tiarna has a keen interest in hand-raising foster kittens and enjoys canine and feline dentistry.

Blaise Baldiserra

Blaise joined our team back in 2008 after being the recipient of a school-based apprenticeship in
Certificate II Veterinary Nursing.

 

Blaise completed her veterinary nursing studies in 2021.


Blaise is well known for her bubbly, highly social personality and is very much adored by all of our clients.

 

Having grown up on a farm in Ungarra Blaise has a keen interest in sheep work and is often Dr
Murray’s offsider on farm visits.

Jodie Walker

Jodie is the backbone of our clinic having worked in almost every area of the clinic from nursing to finance and most recently practice manager. Jodie first joined our team back in 1994 and completed her nursing in 1998.
 

Jodie has worked as a veterinary nurse at Adelaide Animal Hospital as well as at the Marine Science Centre as a lab technician. Her nursing career also includes some very interesting experience travelling around the EP and interstate as an ovine artificial breeding technician and embryologist.


Outside of Lincoln Vets Jodie shares her passion for horses through her business Ryecroft Riding Centre, teaching children horse riding and horsemanship.

Nicky Vermeulen

 

Receptionist
On Maternity Leave

Nicky originally started working for Lincoln Veterinary Centre as a teenager in our boarding kennels where she worked for approximately 5 years before leaving to raise her young family.  

 

We were very excited to welcome Nicky back to the team in 2019 where she took on the front of house receptionist role. Nicky works part time for LVC between juggling her two young children.  

Lynn Irvine

Originally from the UK, Lynn has travelled many parts of the world before finally settling in Port Lincoln
in August 2018.

Lynn has a background in Canine Hydrotherapy with a huge passion for rehabilitation, chickens and her
Frenchie Joe.

 

Lincoln Vets is very fortunate to have a team member with so much additional knowledge
behind them.

Lynn is part of our friendly front of house staff, always happy to have a chat and get to know our clients.
